What Social Distancing? People Line Up Outside Liquor Shops As Alcohol Sale Begins
The government of India has extended the lockdown till May 17 with some reliefs. Some services have been opened in non-containment zones. Liquor shops were allowed to open in green zones and also in red zones if its doesn't come under containment pockets. Vendors were asked to maintain social distancing and only 5 customers were allowed in shops at one time. However, several pictures of people lining up in front of liquor shops paint a different picture.
These viral pictures show that people here don't care about social distancing. Situation became so worse that police has to control the crowd and in some places, the shops were also closed.
Have a look at the pictures:

The decision of government was slammed my many. However, it is clear that the fight with corona is long and not all businesses can be shut down for so long.
The total number of positive corona cases in India have crossed 40,000. It is yet to be seen if the government plans to exceed this lockdown. Special trains have been started to move migrants to their states.
It won't be wrong to say that situation is getting worse with each day.
